How many possible points can you earn on the Spanish Language CLEP test?

You did awesome! The most is 80. That should get you 12 credits, but it may vary by college, so check with your college to be sure.
Yeah, the Spanish CLEP is scored between a 20 and an 80. So obviously, the 78 was a super, super score. Congrats!
Usually, with a score that high, you can get credit for 2 years worth of Spanish. Usually it’s 12 credits, one guy I know of got 14. Depending on where your Advanced Intermediate Spanish falls in your degree, it may or may not be covered. I’d just check with your advisor about that.
