I like the Spanish language very much. I worked in Los Angeles (good spanish name for a city!) with Spanish speaking people and found them to be very big hearted and funny!
Buenos Dias, Senor!
Not for me it’s been ruined by the force of it users>USA
it is a very **** language…
it is imoprtant because is spoken in the whole world
Instead of using it is you could use It’s a very important language. Good luck with your studies. Its important because a lot of people in America speak it.
Spanish is a beautiful language. I believe it’s one of the “romance languages”. Based on latin, the words have such grace and complexity.
And with so many Spanish-speaking people moving into the United States, it’s important that people in the U.S. know spanish if possible so that they can communicate better with the people around them.
people think that spanish speaking people, are very interesting and their culture althought it is very different from us in the usa, it is very interesting…i took spanish as a second lanuage and we learned alot about your culture, the way you eat, talk, socialize and the importance of family…americans go to many spanish speaking countries for vacation, because it is so new and interesting. we think of you as a very polite and nice speaking people you know how to enjoy your lives.
We think Spanish is beautiful and very hard to learn.
Trent Decatur
I’ts cool some words is the same to the English languge but just add an “o” at the end!!!
Spanish language is very important here in America, because of the Spanish population.
I think it is a beautiful language. Although, I think if you are living in america then you should really know how to speak english.
I think the spanish language has ruined parts of america. If you have ever been to orlando,Tampa and Miami you would understand what I mean. You cant go to a store without some illegal immigrant who cant speak english. This is the USa and we speak english. If your going to be here at least figure out the basics. For instance, “What pump sir?” and “would you like fries with that combo”…I mean come one people
Most americans I speak to, say they want their small children to learn it, or they want to learn it themselves.
They also think it is very hard.
I am American, and pick up foreign languages easily. I am great with the English language, and find Spanish very easy.
I have also studied Russian and Italian, and find Portuguese very difficult….
My husband is Mexican. We speak spanish in the home, but our 21 month old daughter is learning mainly english for now. She’ll pick up the spanish when she is ready. She needs to understand English grammar first, and speaking English to our daughter is helping my husband speak proper conversational English.
Now a days Spanish is kind of imporatant in the USA because a lot of people come up from mexico and we need to know how to talk to them so we have to know Spanish as well. All desk jobs involve Spanish now….In fact I’m taking Spanish right now!
It is likely that the Americans don’t even know where your country is, from what I have heard as well is, that for an American it is unlikely to find an appartment in Madrid, if you are not Spanish…
So maybe if all Spanish learn Englisch and all American Spanish, you can solve a hell lot of issues !
I think Spanish is one of the romantic languages. What country are you from, if USA what country is your relatives from? (Just asking, you don’t have to answer.) I learned Spanish in high school, I took 2 years of it, but I learned from a Cuban and it is different than what they call “street Spanish” in America. Hope this helps you with your project.
it’s very important because so many Hispanics are moving to the U.S. Go down to Florida, there’s 2.7 million Hispanics there cause they came over from Cuba. It’s also going to be really important for businesses for the same reason.
Yes, it is a very important language. Also, it is becoming more important with time. Many Americans, like myself, speak or understand some Spanish.
Many businesses offer the Spanish language as their second language of communication. There are some public schools in the United States that offer exclusively Spanish lectures.
¡Muy Bueno! ¡Estoy alegre nosotros puedo compartir nuestras idiomas juntas!
Spanish is a very important language here due to the Immigration Reform, so keep up the good work. You too may have the overflow of Spaniards also. We call it here being bilingual.
I love studying Spanish and I think it will be a very useful language in the future, but its reputation has been tarnished because of the controversy over immigration.
Thanks!
I like the Spanish language. I took 3 years of it in school. It is a difficult language, but fun to learn. I believe though that you should learn to speak English in America, but most Spanish people are nice people… just the ones who promote gangs…etc… give them a bad name! Buena suerte!
I don’t think it’s important in the usa, but if I was going to a spanish speaking country I would learn it.
Spanish is the spoken language of the largest number of people in the world (yup, even more than Chinese – which isn’t one universal language in that country, either).
A daughter of Latin, Spanish has a structure completely different from either British or American English. Studying Spanish is a VERY good way for English-speakers to discover “hidden” elements of language structure not normally taught to us. It is a wonderfully expressive language, and much given to beautiful rhymes and interesting sound combinations.
The upper-class Argentine dialect of Spanish to my ears is the most beautiful spoken language on the planet. I could sit and listen to that all day and not get tired.
I find Spanish less effective in technical and scientific usage than in other arenas of speech. It is an ideal tongue for diplomacy and law, and of course for literature. As for insults – well, only Arabic is more pungent!
Buena sera con sus clases!
Dear friend,
I love Spanish and I use it every day.I think besides English it is a very important world language.Que Dios le bendiga.Hermano Verto.
Yes Spanish is an important language in most of the Western World. It is becoming very important in the United States.
Many non Spanish folks don’t like it but I do. I was in South Vietnam when the government they had the idea to cleanse foreign words from the language. This made many people unhappy.
Well, it is, but yanks take it as a very personal insult.
In the USA, the yanks loathe Spanish, people who speak Spanish, and quite a few other things.
The good, or bad thing ( depending on how you look at it ) is that like it or not, they have to swallow it
It is lovely and spoken in many countries. In the US it is gaining dominance because of the many Latin immigrants, but it is upsetting many English speaking Americans because they feel that their country is being invaded. Tricky situation, but the language is like music.
In the not to recent past I had a love interest that happens to be Hispanic.
His English is good, a bit halting, but good. However, when I hear him revert to Spanish it just gets me HOT!!!
Now I understand why it is called a romantic language.
The Spanish language is VERY important in the USA.
Hispanics are here to stay, get over it.
Peace.
EDIT: As Der Lange mentioned. Good luck with your classes.
