So why run an ad in Spanish and not have it understood by the vast majority of the English-only speaking audience. It’s utterly dumbfounding to me. Makes zero sense. Someone please explain the logic.
And no it’s not for Spanish-speaking person specific product. It’s just for any potential TimeWarner service subscriber. I’ve seen the English version of it many times.

The Spanish language was spoken continiuosly in the USA for more than 500 hundred years. I would like someone to give me a valid reason to called Spanish foreign in the USA.
The USA does not have an oficial language. It is not in the Constitution or in any law by congress.
Also the first language of millions of Born Americans is Spanish.
