Learning To Speak Spanish – Learn Spanish Language DVD

asked:

If you are looking to learn to speak a foreign language the best way is always to immerse yourself in the country, or surround yourself with people who are fluent in the tongue. Learning to speak Spanish is a very popular course for lots of people to take.

If you are able to go to the country, then there are courses in the North and South of Spain that cater to the teaching of overseas students. However, for most people, the idea of going abroad to learn a language just isn’t realistic. It may be possible for a young student going on a school exchange or perhaps a year in the country whilst at university, but how are those with jobs and commitments supposed to learn the language?

For these people there are wonderful learning resources from any level from beginner to advanced that you can get your hands on. These people are able to learn to speak Spanish from their home without having to pay lots of money for coursesor anything like that.

It really doesn’t matter whether you are just starting off and wanting to learn some basic Spanish because you are planning to go travelling through a Spanish speaking country, or if you are looking to get to an advanced level so that you can fluenty converse in Spanish for business or other purposes. For any purpose you will be able to find a host of online sources that will offer a wonderful package.

These programmes offer CD’s with many hours of listening and speaking practice, free online tutorials, unlimited access to pages with writing and reading exercises and interactive games amongst many other great learning aids. You will find that each of these different online programmes will have a slightly different approach towards your learning so its important to choose one that will suit you and your needs.

Spanish language learning programs in foreign countries with instruction and home stays recommended?

Inquisinatrix asked:

I’m interested in spending a week or two in a Spanish speaking country and have looked into programs that offer instruction for part of the day and free time in afternoon evenings. Most offer the option to stay with a family. I am a beginner – intermediate and want to work with an organization that will place me according to my level, not just do what’s good for them to get business.

Can anyone who has had experience with this recommend a country/city, as well a particular company they did business with ? Thanks.

What is the best way to learn Spanish without living in a Spanish speaking country?

GreyCow asked:

I am learning Spanish by listening to tapes in my car, using programs on the computer, but none of them give me the “real world” conversation or interaction practice that I am looking for.

I already know that the best way is to live in a Spanish speaking country to learn it, but was hoping for other solutions as I can not do this.

Does anyone know a good way acquire practice through interaction, whether it be with live people or some kind of software?
